Who we are: Holiday Lights started almost 20 years ago in Hamilton, Ontario as a partnership between two former university classmates and fellow entrepreneurs. Throughout the years, the company has developed a unique system for delivering quality holiday décor installations to both residential and commercial clients. Several years ago, a former friend and employee of Holiday Lights moved to Vancouver, where he decided to start Holiday Lights BC, utilizing the same methods, products and tools that have proven successful in achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
Design: At Holiday Lights BC, we firmly believe that establishing a personal connection with our customers enables us to deliver a superior service and therefore we prefer to do in-person design consultations. This ensures more accurate estimating and allows us to be on the same page as our customers from the get-go.
You can send us a message or you can request a quote via our toll free number; a member of our team will contact you to schedule a consultation at your home. During the consultation, we will put together a ‘menu’ of all the features of your home that could potentially be lit up, including trees, roof lines, doors, windows, pillars, walks, and shrubs. You may then choose from the menu of décor items that you find appealing.
The design consultation takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes depending on the size of the house.
Installation: Our qualified technicians will come to your house with all the chosen décor items and will install them safely and professionally.
All our lights and décor are custom-fit to your house and carry a lifetime warranty, meaning that as long as you are our customer, we will fix and/or replace old burnt out lights at no extra charge. Additionally, during the season, we provide free service calls in the event your lights stop working.
Take down: Some time in January our team will contact you to schedule take down. We will take down your décor, label it and package it neatly; we will also map your décor layout for easy re-install.
